Correct localized dust nibs, minor coating defects and small-area finish issues with a controlled process built around the defect, coating condition and repair diameter. Select each abrasive, tool and finishing item for the actual surface rather than treating spot repair as one fixed sequence.
Identify the defect type, coating condition, cure state and the smallest practical correction area. Stop if the defect requires refinishing work beyond localized correction.
Choose the disc format and grade around the defect and the finish required after sanding. Keep the working area controlled and progress only as much as the surface requires.
Match the tool size, speed and attachment to the selected abrasive. A similar diameter does not by itself prove that a disc, pad and tool are compatible.
Refine the sanding pattern before final polishing. Choose the finishing pad and process for the cured coating and remaining surface condition.
Optional adjacent-area protection: use masking only where the repair location, wet-sanding process or nearby trim makes protection appropriate. It is not a compulsory step for every spot repair.
These published products cover localized sanding, compact-tool, optional protection and finishing roles. Confirm each item separately for the coating, repair area and equipment being used.
Model / Reference: TL466
A 32 mm silicon-carbide film disc for controlled wet sanding of localized coating defects. Published grit options: P2000, P3000 and P5000.
Model / Reference: TLH68
A compact cordless sander for precision repair and other small or difficult-to-access areas. Confirm the exact abrasive attachment before use.
Model / Reference: SKU MT11018
An optional wet-sanding masking tape for protecting adjacent areas when the repair location and process require it. Masking is not mandatory for every spot correction.
Model / Reference: TL001
A soft foam finishing pad for the final polishing stage on a suitable cured coating after the surface has been refined for polishing.
TL466 is published in P2000, P3000 and P5000. Grade choice depends on the coating, defect and required refinement; use only the minimum correction needed for the surface.
TLH68 is a compact 32 mm sander, but direct compatibility with a particular disc or attachment must be verified for the actual interface and operating process.
Use MT1202 / SKU MT11018 only when nearby surfaces need protection during the chosen process. Do not treat masking as a mandatory step for every localized correction.
TL001 is a soft finishing pad. It is not a universal solution for every sanding mark; the surface must first be refined to a condition suitable for the finishing stage.
